Stone Cold Steve Austin is a name that needs no introduction. Austin is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to step inside the squared circle. Over the years, he has amazed the WWE Universe via his entertaining segments and thrilling matches. Unfortunately, in 2003, Austin retired from in-ring action after suffering multiple knee injuries and a severe neck injury.

Since then, the WWE Hall of Famer has made sporadic appearances in WWE. However, he hasn’t wrestled in a match. According to WrestleVotes and a few sources, WWE is trying to make Stone Cold Steve Austin a meaningful part of the event rather than just having him make a special appearance.

However, for those who expected an in-ring return, hold your horses as Austin will not be in a wrestling role. WrestleVotes reported it is up to the creative team of WWE at this point. Nevertheless, it will be a delight for the fans at the AT&T Stadium to see Austin feature at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ in any capacity.

WWE will host WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas, i.e. the Texas Rattlesnake’s home state. Hence, his appearance is looking likely, especially as he appeared at the last WrestleMania at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
