Stone Cold Steve Austin single-handedly revolutionized the landscape of WWE in the late 90s and put WWE in front of WCW and, eventually, helped them win the Monday Night War.

However, other than his middle fingers, fiery promos, and the cool entrance music, one thing that stood out for the WWE Hall of Famer was his post-match celebration.

Day in and day out, Steve Austin would drench himself with beer after every victory. WWE timekeeper and referee Mark Yeaton was the one responsible for tossing those eye-soothing beer cans to Austin so that he can wildly chug those cans.

Mark joined Austin on his podcast years ago and the Texas Rattlesnake came clean on just how much real beer he was actually drinking during his prime wrestling days.

The reason why Stone Cold would chug cans of beer after his victory was to give another shade to his no-nonsense gimmick and no one could stop him from doing so, not even Vince McMahon.

Stone Cold Steve Austin once drank over 100 beers in one night

Speaking on the podcast, Stone Cold reflected back to the time when he was in Japan with the Dudley Boys and Stacy Keibler and then he admitted that he drank 115 beers which is the most he ever drank.

“We were in Japan the time we did the beer bash with the Dudleys and Stacy Keibler?… We went through 115 beers that night [in Japan], and that was the most I ever went through,” he said.

There have been multiple instances when the anti-corporate confessed that he would get tipsy on the turnbuckle or on a walk back on the ramp.

With his WWE days behind him, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has moved on to the beer business. Austin teamed up with El Segundo Brewing Company to create what is being called “Broken Skull IPA”.
