Every wrestling fan will always remember the legendary career of Stone Cold Steve Austin. He quickly reached the top of the roster after his infamous 3:16 promo at King of the Ring. After being poorly utilized by WCW, they did not see him as the main event star, but it all changed in WWE.
The WrestleMania 13 submission match between Austin and The Hitman is a memorable one. Austin’s bloody face in the sharpshooter submission before passing out is the one image that is most associated with his career.

This rule-breaking by Hart and Austin indeed helped Stone Cold to rise up the ranks. In the end, Hart locked the Sharpshooter on a bloody Austin, never quit, but passed out from the blood loss and pain. Ken Shamrock, the special guest referee, awarded Hart the match.
Hart continued to hold the Sharpshooter in Austin. The Texas Rattlesnake, despite his wounds, refused any assistance back to the locker room. Thus turning Hart into heel and Austin a baby face in a rare double-turn.
Surprisingly, Vince McMahon didn’t punish either man for breaking the no-blading rule, since it worked to perfection. Hart had given Mr. McMahon a star at a cost of just breaking a rule, and Austin went on to make a legendary WWE career.
