If anybody says WWE attitude era, the name Stone Cold Steve Austin will always be a synonym for it. His matches and segments are still most talked about. Undoubtedly, Austin is one of the greats in WWE history.

Post-retirement, Stone Cold made himself busy as an anchor and started a talk show of his own. He loves his work right of hosting.

However, apart from wrestling and hosting his show, The Rattlesnake has another interesting hobby. He loves collecting neon light things and boards, especially neon clocks.

Recently, Austin shared a new collection to his neon set. He posted the picture on his Instagram. He was happy sharing his new collection and also shared an unpleasing fact about neon artifacts.

The caption said, “Picked up a bad a** neon sign last night at the Mule Deer Foundation banquet in Carson City. The sign was made in Reno by the very talented @colorofneon. In the third picture is my Big Horn Sheep neon made over 30 years ago by the same artist Ken @colorofneon. The Big Horn was a gift from my brother @nevadahuntingservices.”

As per the caption, Austin knows the history behind his latest acquisition. This shows how Austin has invested his time into a hobby outside his profession. Who thought the man who stunned other wrestlers and drank beer after that in WWE had a different hobby?

However, for Austin, this week is the happiest week for him. He added a new neon sign to his collection and will make a return at WrestleMania 38 as a guest on the Kevin Owens Show and can have some in-ring action, too.

The Texas Rattlesnake had a 10+ years career in pro wrestling. Apart from that, Austin also picked up a hobby of collecting neo signs and boards. But when he started collecting neon signs?

Austin mentioned, he started to collect neon clocks when he moved back to Texas after he got fired from WCW. He revealed this on his podcast Steve’s Bucket List

Austin once met Rick Maverick, and he saw an atomic bomb neon sign at his house. Instantly, Austin wanted to know from where he got the sign. After meeting Rick Austin got a hang of the hobby and then started collecting his own neon signs and boards.
