Stone Cold Steve Austin Bailed Out on His Daughters Owing to Female WWE Star’s Pressure

The attitude era saw Stone Cold Steve Austin climb up the ranks in WWE quickly. At the time his professional life was skyrocketing, Austin’s personal life took a different turn. 

Austin was married to the English wrestling manager, Jeanie Clarke aka Lady Blossom, with whom he worked in WCW. Moreover, he has two daughters with Clarke. They split in 1999 as Austin started dating WWE star Debra Marshall, who he married in the year 2000.

Austin was also once married to his high school girlfriend, Kathryn Burrhus, for two years before getting married to Clarke.

Stone Cold Steve Austin didn’t want to meet his daughters once

A couple of years ago, Jeanie Clarke appeared on The Hannibal TV for an interview. She recalled how once Stone Cold Steve Austin bailed on meeting the daughters because of his third wife Debra.

Clarke said, “I was living in Dallas. Steve actually phoned me up and said to me, ‘There’s a show in Fortworth. We are TV tapping in Fortworth, so bring the girls.’ So he asked me to bring the girls phoned me and asked me.”

Clarke revealed the daughters loved making posters for the show and they had made some for Austin. However, later The Rattlesnake called Clarke at 4:00 PM, a few hours before the show, to tell them not to attend the arena.

The English manager anyway took the daughters to the show as the girls would have become sad if they canceled the plan. They watched the show from the bleachers. After the show, a crew member took them to meet Austin backstage. Clarke recalled Austin looking puzzled to see them there.

The former WCW manager, while leaving, met Debra, who said she had a problem with Clarke and the daughters meeting Austin. Further, Jeanie Clarke remembered Stone Cold calling her and explaining the situation.

Clarke said, “Steve phoned me up and he apologizes. He said I’m sorry.” “She (Debra) had left the building with the Renault car because I was there with girls and she had told him to tell me not to come.”

Austin had to share a ride with another WWE superstar as Debra left with the car they traveled together.

For how long Austin and Debra Marshall were married?

Austin and Debra married in the year 2000 at a Las Vegas Chapel. They had met each other in 1998 when Debra joined WWE with Jeff Jarrett. Stone Cold was married twice before marrying Debra.

However, they got a divorce two years later in 2002. Austin in late 2009, married his fourth wife, Kristin Feres, with whom he lives today.
