WWE has Roman Reigns, and AEW has MJF. While fans already view them as the classic heel and as an irreplaceable asset of the company, his terrific performance against Danielson in the AEW Revolution main event boosted his top-dog status even more. To say MJF is ahead of the game would be an understatement.

Maxwell draws a lot of comparisons with another wrestling legend, The Miz, ever since CM Punk addressed him as a ‘less famous Miz’ last year during AEW Dynamite. However, the 26-year-old believes that he is the better version of Miz with due respect to the former 8-time intercontinental champion. This time, he came up with a shocking claim about the WWE star.

AEW world champion shared the throwback photos of his first WWE-themed Bar Mitzvah from 2009 ahead of the 2023 ‘Re Bar Mitzvah’ celebration next week. This flashback, however, didn’t come out as very graceful for The Miz. Though Friedman has been vocal about his admiration towards Miz several times in the past, he didn’t refrain from calling out The Money Maker on social media for his unethical deed.

The Maxamania event of 2009 features a logo related to that year’s WrestleMania 25. The logo shows an upside-down W (like M). Miz used this particular idea during his WWE Champion run in the year of 2011. This is something that MJF thinks is not okay and hails as an act of stealing.

Dragging this reference in his recent tweet, former MLW champion noted, ‘Maxamania Bar mitzvah circa 2009. (You may notice I invented the upside-down logo that was then stolen from me years later. I’ve not sued out of immense respect for said person) Please join us on Wednesday @TBSNetwork at 8 pm for my Re Bar mitzvah exclusively on @AEW’

However, he didn’t mention The Miz anywhere in his post.

The Salt of the Earth not only receives a lot of comparison with The Miz but the WWE Universe speculates about the AEW star being the last opponent of the Miz before drawing the end line of the latter’s decorative career. This buzz is not coming out of the blue at all. Wrestling fans have every reason to think of a dream match between these two greatest talents in the arena of professional wrestling.

There is a high chance of MJF making a shift to WWE next year after his contract ends with AEW. The only WWE star with whom MJF has been compared for a long is none other than the Miz. Considering MJF’s different and more developed wrestling style than Miz, it won’t be very surprising if we get to see a passing-the-torch moment between the duo. However, only time will say if it will ever materialize somewhere down the line or not.
