Ric Flair is not only a fantastic wrestler but also a great human being. The former WWE superstar has won it all during his time in the WWE. Flair was adored by fans not only due to his wrestling skills but also by his personality. Recently, he showed another great gesture towards an NFL star.

Ric Flair wished the ailing NFL star Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael on his birthday on Twitter. Flair posted a picture where he visited Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael as he battles ALS or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

This disease is very serious as it makes you lose your muscle control and affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

Flair tried to inspire the NFL legend in his battle with ALS through his post. The NFL legend was certainly a fan favorite during his time with The Chicago Bears. He was not only a professional football player but also a former professional wrestler.

Ric Flair himself had some serious medical issues in the past

In May 2019, Ric Flair underwent surgery. Flair was suffering from some medical issues and was hospitalized because of it. TMZ sports stated that Flair was suffering from heart problems and even went through multiple procedures before the surgery.

After getting released from the hospital following his surgery, Flair posted on his Twitter as he addressed his fans to claim that it is a miracle that he is still alive. He revealed he was back and was better than ever. The former WWE superstar even revealed his hospital bill following his release from the hospital.

Well, that was not the first time Flair had to visit the hospital. Ric Flair was previously admitted to the hospital back in 2017. Flair even revealed that the doctors gave him only a 20% chance of living as he was in a coma undergoing surgery.

The former WWE superstar suffered various complications because of a piece in his bowel, which acted as a blockage.

But, Ric Flair is still enjoying his life having fought with all these medical problems and come back strong. We have also seen the former WWE superstar making some rare appearances in WWE. Undoubtedly, he is an inspiration for many.
