Stephanie McMahon Once Revealed How Triple H Made His Moves Despite the Former Dating Someone at the Time

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, the power couple of WWE, have been together for two decades. The WWE creatives have involved this couple in several in-ring storylines. But, the WWE Universe saw them together on-screen in late 1999 for the first time. 

Formerly, fans thought that Stephanie and Triple H were already involved in a romantic relationship before the creatives started their storyline in WWE. However, the former co-CEO abolished those rumors when she appeared on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ in 2002.

Stephanie McMahon was confused by a ‘Flirtatious’ Triple H

During the show, the host asked Stephanie if she made a special request to her father Vince McMahon to write a storyline around her and Triple H. To this, Stephanie instantly replied that she wasn’t in a relationship with Triple H as she was already dating someone at that time.

This made the host curious, and he asked about Triple H’s moves to win over his boss’ daughter. Stephanie replied that although Triple H was very flirtatious, but he’d always drop hints rather than approach directly. And it confused her for quite a while.

While talking to the host, Stephanie McMahon said, “He was very flirtatious….He would drop hints and I sort of wonder like… is he hitting on me…….And then I thought no..it can’t be….. he is just having fun……Our storyline was we were married and we took over this business and we drove my dad out…… like, I would be sitting on his lap and things like that…..he just say things…. And one time when I was standing around the ring ….he sort of crawled around me….… he was on the floor and….you know…. he felt my leg that’s definitely flirtation there.”

Stephanie McMahon was last seen in the WWE arena on the 10th of January, 2023. That day, she announced her resignation from the position of WWE’s chairwoman and co-CEO. Her husband is still working in the WWE as the Chief Content Officer.

No one knows the reason behind Stephanie’s immediate resignation. Some fans think that it was because Vince McMahon held the power again. And others considered family responsibilities a reason.
