WWE Crown Jewel 2021 was the day and place where lots of history took place for the Arab culture and the WWE Universe. The match card that night had two Muslim superstars performing in a PPV for the first time in WWE history.

This was also the first-ever women’s championship match in Saudi Arabia and the first time when a female referee officiated a match in Saudi Arabia.

Since the PPV, the wrestler’s Twitter accounts have been filled with hearty congratulations. Recently, Chief Brand Officer of WWE, Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter and congratulated Jessika Carr, the woman who officiated the Hell in a Cell match of Edge and Seth Rollins.

Carr worked two matches on the Crown Jewel card–the Hell In a Cell opener between Seth Rollins and the winner, Edge, plus the ‘King of the Ring’ Tournament finals between Finn Balor and King Xavier Woods.

You know you’ve done something great when the owner’s daughter congratulates you in front of the world. Therefore, it was special that Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to congratulate Carr for her achievement.

“It’s not only the females competing in the ring that are carving their names into history, last night was also the 1st time a woman has refereed in Saudi Arabia. Thank you for being yet another incredible example,” McMahon wrote.

Stephanie also took some time out and congratulated the other women who took part in the historical PPV. She thanked Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and Becky Lynch for putting on a classic performance in Riyadh.

She also congratulated Zelina Vega for becoming the first-ever ‘Queen of WWE’ when she defeated Duodrop in the tournament’s final match.

Earlier we also saw the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch congratulating her fellow wrestlers, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair for sharing the ring with her.

Former WWE Divas Champion, Natalya also congratulated Carr on her historical achievement at the WWE Crown Jewel 2021.

The WWE Universe believes that this is the best Crown Jewel PPV since its inception in 2018. We witnessed some of the most bizarre and out-of-place matches earlier at Crown Jewel.

However, this year’s PPV has clearly set the benchmark and many fans believe that last Thursday’s PPV was on par with the SummerSlam PPV earlier this year.
