It is hard to keep someone like CM Punk out of the news in the wrestling world. Even when he’s not performing he’s a hot topic of debate and can draw a sharp opinion or two. Punk’s tenure in WWE and now AEW has divided opinions among fans and pro wrestlers. After last year’s “brawl out” the Second City Saint has become even more polarizing than ever before. And now former WWE Champion and one of the company’s top stars Seth Rollins has harsh words for Punk before the Royal Rumble PLE.

There have been rumors of WWE or Punk himself buying out his AEW contract after the infamous incident backstage after AEW’s All Out. Following his outspoken rant and backstage brawl against Kenny Omega and Young Bucks, AEW has sidelined Punk, and he hasn’t been seen since. Recently there have been rumors of a Punk return to WWE, but it seems Seth Rollins isn’t a big fan.
