WWE President Nick Khan was at GCW’s Bloodsport X event. Here, he was spotted talking to Josh Barnett behind the scenes. Barnett faced off against John Hennigan at the event. Even WWE’s Shayna Baszler clashed with TNA’s Masha Slamovich and won. In attendance were Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, and CM Punk. However, none generated more attention than Khan and Barnett’s photo posted with the caption, “Nick Khan spotted with Brock Lesnar.”

The reason the image gained attention was that, at first glance, Barnett looked like Lesnar. From the back, though The Beast’s iconic back tattoos were missing, many felt like it was The Beast. The internet flooded the comment section with questions about who the person was. There was a bit of hope from the fans that it was, in fact, Lesnar that the WWE president was talking to.

As mentioned above, the WWE Universe has been scrutinizing everything under a microscope to find any hint that The Beast will be back. According to WWE insiders, Lesnar was set to face Gunther at Mania XL. Fans are still hoping that he will show up at Mania, but nothing is confirmed.
Will the WWE bring Lesnar back even after the scandal?
Fans of The Beast have been speculating about the WWE’s potential to bring Lesnar back into the WWE. With Lesnar’s hometown of Minnesota being the next possible venue for Mania XLI, this could be the way WWE goes. However, fans wanted him to return this year. Nevertheless, the spotlight is far too high and wide on him at the moment. So chances of WWE bringing back Brock Lesnar for WrestleMania this weekend seems like a long shot. The matchup against Intercontinental champion Gunther was slated to be in the making for a long time. However, that dream has been shattered for the WWE Universe.
