“Sorry About Traffic”: Boston’s Ted Williams Tunnel Reportedly Closed for 28-Year-Old WWE Personality, Endorsed by Alexa Bliss, Zelina Vega and Others

WWE superstars often display heroic traits. A WWE employee recently donated her kidney in an awe-inspiring and gutsy move, which is one of the greatest acts a human being could do. While the operation was successful, the TV personality received unanimous praise from fellow WWE superstars like Alexa Bliss, and Zelina Vega among others, and fans worldwide.

SmackDown announcer Megan Morant’s act of kindness to donate a kidney to her former boss’ wife drew widespread support while it also led to the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston being closed for traffic briefly.

Megan Morant apologizes for Boston traffic closure

Megan Morant, after giving a positive update on her health post the donation of a kidney, received unparalleled love and applause. People chimed in to share their appreciation by commenting on Morant’s social media handles. According to a report by WrestlingInc, this isn’t the first time Morant has tried donating.

She first attempted to donate in November 2022, when fellow WWE creative team member Michael Kirshenbaum needed a transplant. However, she wasn’t a successful match.

After almost one and half years of a valiant attempt by working with the National Kidney Registry, things finally worked out and, as a result, she recently donated her organ.

And what’s better than adding some banter to the mix? Megan Morant was quick to crack a wise one by apologizing to Boston for causing traffic at Boston’s Ted Williams Tunnel to halt.

Besides top divas, other wrestlers like Mustafa Ali and, more importantly, Titus O’Neil, who has himself been one of the great philanthropists for the brand, showed their support to the broadcaster.

This isn’t the first time that someone from WWE has stood up to do great deeds. The organization has undertaken many initiatives in association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and other such organizations. John Cena leads the pack who has granted over 600 wishes in his career, the most by any superstar in history.

The billion-dollar company has also supported partners like the Boys and Girls Club of America and breast cancer movements by sporting pink over the years. This adds another feather in the cap for WWE superstars and their acts of humanity.

While the WWE might not have a multiverse like the Avengers, they surely have superheroes ready to help others. And the new superhero in town is Megan Morant, who will hope to be involved in more charity work going forward.
