Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, former Tag Team partners who turned rivals, were unimpressed when WWE chose not to nominate their feud for “Rivalry of the Year” at the upcoming Slammy Awards.

According to Mandy Rose, WWE completely disregarded the fact that Sonya Deville and her rivalry reeled in many views. On top of that, she included the clip of her return to Friday Night SmackDown with a makeover.

Sonya Deville responded to her tweet by taking a shot at a current nomination, Lana and the Announcer tables. To anyone who does not know this yet, Lana has been put through the announcers table for the last several weeks by Nia Jax on Monday Night Raw.

Furthermore, Deville is of the opinion that she should have been nominated for more than “Rivalry of the Year”.

Their rivalry managed to catch the attention of viewers. The rivalry caught the fans off-guard when they heard the way Sonya Deville addressed Rose.

It reached to the level where Deville was prepared to attack Mandy Rose with a pair of scissors.

Another reason their rivalry became a top one among the crowd was their interesting characters. Sonya Deville was one of the most vicious heels in the Women’s Division. Coupling that with her MMA background, she was no less fierce than a predator.

However, Mandy Rose did not back off. She matched Deville’s level of viciousness and attacked her with the same might. The video of their brawl is one of top videos on the WWE channel.

The rivalries that surpassed Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose’s feud

The rivalries that have been nominated for the Slammy Awards are Seth Rollins vs. The Mysterio Family, Sasha Banks vs. Bayley, Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton, Edge vs. Randy Orton, R-Truth vs. The World, and of course, Lana and the Announcers table.

Coming to the “Breakout Star of the Year”, the nominees are Dominik Mysterio, The Street Profits, Otis, Bianca Belair, and Murphy.
