“Someone Needs to Shut Him Up Permanently”: Booker T’s “Tacky” Comment on Big E’s Injury Leaves Fans Fuming

The WWE fans were in utter shock after they received the news of Big E’s neck injury. Since he suffered a broken neck, it’s been over 9 months that the fans have witnessed his presence in the ring. However, he is still one of the most loved wrestlers of all time. That is the reason behind fans getting aggressive on Booker T’s derogatory remark about the 36-year-old wrestler and his stable, The New Day. 

The near fatal injury cost him his presence on the roster, but that didn’t make his fans love him any lesser. As we already know, injuries are common with wrestling, but the reasons are different. However, most of the time, it is a wrestling move than goes wrong and results in severe damage to the performer. 

Fans got aggressive on Booker T’s disparaging remark

During a match on Friday Night SmackDown in March 2022, the 8-time tag team champion suffered a broken neck as a suplex went wrong. Ever since then, his fans have been eagerly waiting to watch him in the ring as soon as possible. Meanwhile, a six-time world champion commented disrespectfully about the decorated tag team wrestler.

As Humble Wrestling mentions, Booker T said, “Big E is finished just like the New Day is gonna be finished by the end of their NXT run.” Soon after this, his judgment got a furious response from all the fans. Everyone simply termed King Booker as the “Hater” and went on criticizing his comment. 

One fan even said that Booker lost all respect after he made such a statement about a wrestler, that too when he is in great pain. 

Some of them also commented on Booker T’s jealousy of other black wrestlers. This is surely a candid remark but a brutal one. 

Health update of Big E

As we’re talking about the great WWE wrestler, we must also look upon his marvelous achievements from the recent past. One of which must be when the superstar cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE Championship. The unforgettable match of that Monday Night Raw episode gave everyone a fight to cherish forever. Fans witnessed the defeat of Bobby Lashley at the hands of a member of the New Day. 

After the severe injury, there have been numerous updates on it. In one interview, Big E himself confessed he was quite fortunate, as the injury could have resulted in worse. However, he feels great and will take smart decisions that are best for his health.
