One such brand-new entry is Dragon Lee. The wrestler was a free agent before WWE signed him. Although since his signing, he hasn’t yet made his debut due to some personal issues. Upon signing with the promotion, Lee made an emotional speech, thanking everyone and everything. He even decided to reference the CCO of WWE, Triple H.

Dragon Lee addresses WWE in his speech

Emotions ran the tone of the speech as the star began by addressing how he feels so on top of the world. “I feel very happy and excited,” said Lee while showing his enthusiasm. That is exactly the kind of energy that WWE looks for in a wrestler. The video preview in which the wrestler talked about his signing dates back to January 28, 2023. However, the Mexican signed with WWE back in December of the year 2022. WWE saw it fit to give the masked wrestler a chance to acquaint himself with fans on their screens.

Lee shares with his fans: “some may not believe this, but every Sunday I bought DVDs of WWE shows.” The 27-year-old mentioned that he grew up watching Shawn Michaels, Triple H, as well as Dave Bautista as his favorite superstars. Dragon Lee goes on to add that these stars were the reason why he decided to become a WWE star one day. Now, the world will watch as his dream comes true. The masked wrestler is trying to move ahead with all the aspirations and expectations in his head.

Lee outlines his ambitions

The 27-year-old is confident that he will not just be a name that is going to disappear. Like any other new and inexperienced star, he will be starting off at NXT. However, according to him, he will surely be excelling in the promotion. “I am going to stand out, as I have done in all the places I’ve been,” were Lee’s exact words in the video.

The young wrestler then closed off his speech by saying, “WWE, see you very soon.According to rumors, Lee will have his first match in the second week of February 2023. Whether it will come through is another question.
