The new version of The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, received a new addition last Friday on SmackDown. It was Jacob Fatu who immediately became one of the most prominent members of the group. And on tonight’s edition of the Blue Brand, the faction held a recognition ceremony that did not end well for their manager, Paul Heyman. The Tribal Heir, Heyman, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu took center stage in front of the audience. Solo Sikoa, the new leader of the Bloodline, asked them one by one to acknowledge him as their ‘Tribal Chief’.
Fatu, Tonga, and Loa complied, but when the time came for Paul Heyman to do the same, he remained loyal to former Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and refused to recognize Solo Sikoa. The Bloodline responded to this with a brutal beating of Heyman that ended with a powerbomb delivered by the three of them to the manager on the commentary table. Leaving him totally destroyed, just like the prop. However, it was also the moment when Solo Sikoa actually showed some concern for the legendary manager.

During the spot where Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa picked up Paul Heyman to deliver the triple powerbomb, there was a moment where Solo Sikoa believed that the trio might lose balance and cause Heyman to fall. And knowing that in the end, it is all just a spot rather than a real fight, the Tribal Heir broke the character as he tried to help out his brothers so Heyman doesn’t fall prematurely and get injured.

But in the end, the trio was able to successfully deliver the move, leaving the table completely shattered. Following the spot, Tama and Loa positioned themselves on either side of the self-proclaimed new “The Tribal Chief” as he received the Samoan necklace from Fatu. The four men closed the episode by raising their fingers while a motionless Paul was tended to by several officers. So is a new civil war on the horizon after this deed by the Tribal Heir?

With tonight’s segment at the Blue brand, what fans had been suspecting for a few weeks finally took place. Solo Sikoa has taken full control of the faction, which no longer has any of the original members. In this way, the idea of a clash between the new Bloodline and the original, which would reunite Roman Reigns and the Usos, gains more strength. Paul Heyman, despite what happened, has made it clear that he is positioned on the side of Roman Reigns.
So, a reunion of the first version of The Bloodline could have to take place if they want to take down Solo Sikoa and company. With Zilla Fatu being hinted at as a possible new entry in the Stamford-based promotion, it would be interesting to see which Bloodline he decides to join. The one run by his brother or the original, headed by his uncle With the Survivor Series still far away in time, hopefully, this storyline will continue to simmer. What do you think? Will the original Bloodline reunite to take revenge for the coup d’état? Let us know in the comments.
