Can Solo Sikoa really take down Cody Rhodes, or is he just another stepping stone?

SummerSlam 2024 is knocking at the door and the WWE Universe is geared up to witness magic. Decisive title matches and heated rivalries come to a close at the upcoming PLE. While every match on the cards promises to deliver an enthralling experience, the slated main event bout between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes has earned the most hype. After an anthemic build-up through the weeks, Sikoa took up the charge to strip Rhodes of his title, escalating his inability as the newborn Tribal Chief in Bloodline 2.0 even more.

On the other hand, Cody Rhodes has risen to the rank of the Universal Undisputed WWE World Champion through a rigmarole. So, he will put his heart and soul into retaining the coveted gold. Potential Bloodline recruit Zilla Fatu offered his opinion on the upcoming match.

Roman Reigns has dropped his title at WrestleMania 40 to Cody Rhodes and took some time off to regain the mojo. Meanwhile, the former Right Hand Man wreaked havoc in the erstwhile Bloodline. From taking out Jimmy Uso to brutalizing Paul Heyman to the point of no immediate return to the family tree, Sikoa and his force (Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa) ended a wholesome era.

Although there’s high hope that the Tribal Chief will launch revenge, Sikoa believes he is no longer worthy to be the Bloodline supreme. The 31-year-old believes the world title slipped off the Samoans solely because of Reigns’ callousness and promised to bring the honor back home.

The real-life Bloodline member Zilla Fatu wants the same. During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, the 22-year-old confessed that he acknowledged Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. Now, appeasing the obvious query of for whom he will root at the SummerSlam main event, the real-life Bloodline member noted that Sikoa should win the score because it makes complete sense for him to restore the title to the family.

Zilla Fatu’s Bloodline debut theory has been on the plate for a while. Although the fan-favorite faction looks fully stacked lately, rumors suggested a few faces being on the queue to be the next big pillar of the family. Hikuleo, Zilla Fatu are prime among them. Fatu first sparked the rumor by making a cryptic appreciation post for his former tag team partner Jacob Fatu upon his seismic WWE debut. He wrote ‘See you soon’ over his IG story. This is not the end, nevertheless. Fatu again reacted to the Samoan Werewolf sharing a photo of the entire Bloodline troop on Twitter with a few blood drop emojis. Zilla Fatu retweeted it with the same set of emojis, showing a clear endorsement of the Bloodline.
