Much like many other wrestlers in the promotion, John Cena also has an ongoing streak. However, this streak is something that Cena is eager to break. The reason behind the same is the fact that it’s a losing streak. Since 2018, “The GOAT” has not won a singles solo match. So, as Cena himself revealed during the last SmackDown episode, he would like to put an end to this streak.

Considering the ongoing situation on the blue brand, fans were expecting the youngest member of The Bloodline to be his next opponent, but WWE hasn’t made anything official yet. However, Solo Sikoa himself took a step to tease the fans about a possible future match.

Since before WWE Fastlane, Cena has been entangled in a feud against The Bloodline. In fact, he ended up announcing his frustration regarding the losing streak attached to his solo matches. He made an open challenge on SmackDown and had Solo Sikoa come out as the two engaged in a brawl.

Turns out, that moment was close to the heart of Solo Sikoa as well. The Anoa’i family member used one of the stills from the segment to upload to his Twitter feed.

In the tweet, we can see the two wrestlers standing in the ring against each other. Although there are no captions to explain the context; neither inside nor outside the frame, it may be Sikoa’s way of teasing a future match between them.

Since the WWE legend is already set to appear at Crown Jewel in 2023 and the promotion hasn’t announced a match for him yet, it could be possible that he might wrestle against Sikoa during the PLE.

In order to predict whether this could come true or not, let’s see the brief history the two rivals have shared together on WWE.

John Cena has already bested Solo Sikoa once

The Hollywood superstar wrestled against the Sikoa during a tag team match at Fastlane. The result of the match was the 16-time world champion and LA Knight standing victorious over their opponents. Since this didn’t turn down the hate between the two wrestlers, The Bloodline’s ‘Enforcer’ was there to face him during the last Friday Night SmackDown.
