After losing the WWE Undisputed Championship after 1316 days, Roman Reigns made his return to the company during the main event of SummerSlam to attack Solo Sikoa. The leader of Bloodline 2.0 had proclaimed himself the new ‘The Tribal Chief’ and was facing Cody Rhodes when his cousin interfered and cost him the match.

Following this, Reigns returned to Friday Night SmackDown tonight to provide fans with one of the best closing segments in the past few months. During the main event of the Blue Brand, Solo Sikoa arrived at the ring accompanied by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa and asked the audience to acknowledge him. He then further asked Reigns to come and take away the Ula Fala from him. The Ula Fala is the ceremonial necklace that defines one as the true leader.

So, wasting no time, the Original Tribal Chief appeared to attack the former Guerrillas of Destiny while Sikoa fled. The Ula Fala necklace was left in the middle of the ring, so Reigns tried to pick it up. However, Sikoa took it and fled. The former WWE Undisputed Champion continued his attack on Tama Tonga and botchmaster Tonga Loa, with some brutal chair shots to Loa and some moves against the barricade being delivered to Tama Tonga.

This segment truly showed the true hate between the cousins. But how did it reach this point of hatred? Why did Solo Sikoa betray his own blood? Well, the answer to this has finally been provided by the new Tribal Chief on his Instagram. Taking to his Instagram stories, Sikoa shared a photo of him and the Original Tribal Chief hugging, while the caption reads, “You lied to me.”

Here, the lie can be about Reigns promising to keep the faction on top by keeping all the titles within the group. However, he failed to do so as the group lost the tag titles and soon lost the Universal Championship too as Reigns was defeated by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. To make matters worse, he soon abandoned the group, something that Sikoa brought up by saying he failed as the leader.

Have an interesting take?

Well, now it truly looks like the war between the two groups has truly begun. While Roman Reigns continues to be a lone wolf for now, he is expected to recruit Jimmy and Jey Uso by his side. Bloodline 2.0 stands tall for now with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and an injured Jacob Fatu. At the moment, Roman Reigns has two more dates confirmed for the near future. Both are in episodes of Friday Night SmackDown: the first on Friday, August 16, and the second on September 13. So maybe we will get to see Reigns face his biggest threat, Jacob Fatu, in one of these episodes. So when will he return? Is he seriously injured?

Updates on Jacob Fatu’s condition

A few weeks have passed since the debut of the former MLW World Heavyweight Champion in WWE. The son of Sam Fatu and Tonga Kid has already won the WWE Tag Team Titles together with Tama Tonga last week on SmackDown. The two members of the Bloodline first had to win a Gauntlet Match and, subsequently, beat the DIY to take home the belts.

Then at SummerSlam, during the main event between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu put on an amazing show within a few minutes. His attack on the American Nightmare ended with a spectacular splash from the third rope landing on the commentary table. However, following the maneuver, Fatu began to squirm in pain. Thus highlighting a possible ankle problem.

A few hours after the show, the athlete was seen wearing a foot brace in a video posted online. Dave Meltzer, during the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, provided updates on the wrestler’s condition. He said, “They told me that he Jacob Fatu got hurt, but I was then told that it shouldn’t be anything too serious.”

He noted that he doesn’t know if Fatu will be forced to miss a few weeks of programming. But from the looks of it, it seems like he will be back in about a month. So till then, the Bloodline 2.0 will have to keep themselves safe without him. What do you think? Are you excited to see Fatu and Reigns go one-on-one? Let us know in the comments.
