Feuds that start in pro wrestling also have to end someday. It appears Brock Lesnar could end his most recent feud with a rival that he just picked it up with. This decision of The Beast Incarnate has left his rival, Cody Rhodes, feeling incomplete. Following the Money in the Bank 2023 event, Rhodes has seemingly been missing Lesnar’s company inside the ring.
Although the two even started off as rivals and had two matches in WWE’s PLEs, Rhodes wants Lesnar to come back. This feeling stems from his belief that Lesnar isn’t long for the WWE world anymore. While appreciating Lesnar’s beastly character, Rhodes let in fans on a piece of shocking news.

Around the Money in the Bank event, combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani caught hold of The American Nightmare for an interview. When both of them were talking about The Beast Incarnate, Rhodes gave a statement regarding him. He shared how Lesnar’s absence from WWE makes him feel and what he actually wants from his current rival.
"I would love it, absolutely love it, if Brock Lesnar would come back to work."

Cody Rhodes started off by saying, “I would love it. Absolutely love it, if Brock Lesnar would come back to work.” However, he also stated that despite how much he would ‘love’ Lesnar’s WWE appearance, he is not going to come back. To steer clear of any miscommunication, The American Nightmare mentioned that he believes that this is not because Lesnar is afraid of anyone. “I really don’t think Brock is afraid of anybody. He’s not. He’s Brock Lesnar,” he added. Rather, according to him, the reason could be that the 45-year-old wrestler feels he ended things on a high note with his NoC victory.
Regardless of the situation, Rhodes would want Lesnar to come back to the arena because to him, “It’s so weird to leave it at 1-1. So weird to leave it at 1-1.”
If you think Rhodes is making things up regarding Lesnar being done with WWE, the latter once confessed something about leaving the company himself.
Brock Lesnar on leaving WWE behind
The Beast Incarnate was featured in WrestleMania 39 this year. There, the beastly wrestler defeated the giant Omos. Despite his victory, he didn’t have enough and wanted more. Lesnar attacked Rhodes on the following episode of Monday Night Raw as he swiftly turned his attention elsewhere. The WWE star also made headlines for his comments over a seemingly close WWE exit.

In an ESPN interview with UFC’s Daniel Cormier, Lesnar surprised his WWE fans by saying something they couldn’t have guessed about his future in the promotion. The wrestler said he doesn’t know how long he will be around.
While some fans speculated that he’ll leave immediately after WM 2023, he has stuck around long enough.
