The latest post that the wrestler has uploaded on his official Instagram account teases his next appearance.

He currently performs in the Game Changer Wrestling promotion as he makes his mark in pro wrestling. Wrestling fans expected him to walk into the WWE despite his relative inexperience. However, it seems that this dream of his may not come anytime soon. Well, at least not as soon as this weekend. The Anoa’i family member is set to appear during the GCW No Sleep PPV in Houston, Texas. The show emanates from the Houston Premier Arena and Zilla Fatu will face John Wayne Murdoch in a Houston Street Fight match. To promote the same upcoming appearance, he took to Instagram and said, “In a little over 24 hours 🩸, We set the world on 🔥“.

He teased his appearance to fans and asked them to look out for him on the 28th of June. Both his Houston show and SmackDown are on the same date and day. This confused the wrestling community, especially the segment of people who wished to see him in the leading wrestling promotion.

Fans got excited for Zilla Fatu’s rumored WWE debut despite the reality of the situation

The viewers on Instagram got hyped up seeing Zilla Fatu’s post and caption, potentially teasing an appearance in the Stamford-based company. Little did they know that the Samoan wrestler was promoting his upcoming bout with John Wayne at GCW ‘No Sleep’ 2024.

A fan commented, “Wait… SmackDown is in about 24hrs lol does that mean??? 🔥” People who were expecting the young star’s debut may face disappointment when confronted with reality after they realize that the wrestler only meant to promote his match in Houston rather than fulfill the fantasy booking that has been going around on the internet.
