Kevin Owens faced Dolph Ziggler, who had Robert Roode in his corner. This match was an important one as both wanted to represent their brand at Survivor Series.

Ziggler’s partner Roode wasn’t at ringside for long as the referee sent him out of the ringside area. This match was a brilliant way to start the show as both competitors gave everything.

As the match reached its climax, Owens attempted a Stunner, but Ziggler reversed. After a series of exchanged counters, Owens dodged a superkick and delivered a stunner. Owens pinned Ziggler and became the first SmackDown superstar to qualify for the blue brand this year.

A special night for Bianca Belair on WWE SmackDown

It was Bianca Belair’s second match on SmackDown, and she has already made quite the impression. She took on Billie Kay and Natalya in a triple threat match.

Even though the start was dominated by Natalya, Belair controlled things for eighty percent of the match. However, credit where it’s due, Billie Kay did very well with her smart and sneaky tactics throughout the match. Unfortunately, it didn’t give her the win.

Belair countered an attacking move by Billie Kay and delivered the KOD on the latter. She pinned her to become the first woman from SmackDown this year to represent them at Survivor Series.

Aaliyah Mysterio confesses she is in love with Murphy on WWE SmackDown

The Mysterio family drama just took a whole new turn. Tonight on SmackDown, Aaliyah and Murphy walked out to the ring to confront Rey and Dominik about the past.

Murphy then invited the Mysterios to address them personally, but out came Seth Rollins. The Messiah claimed Rey will never accept Murphy and Aaliyah together.

He called Dominik a coward and said Rey Mysterio forced him to be the bad guy. Out of nowhere, Dominik attacked Rollins, and Murphy assisted his former rival.

However, Dominik attacked Murphy and set him up to assist his father for the 619. As Mysterio was dialing it up, Aaliyah came in between and shocked by the world by saying “I love him.”

As Mysterio asked her to leave the ring, she rejected and repeated those three words again. The duo kissed and then left the ring together, hand in hand.

The Street Profits vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura

The SmackDown tag team champions cut a promo before their match in reply to The New Day’s promo on Raw. They praised New Day a little but then got straight to the point.

The duo promised they won’t show up at the PPV for a box of Booty-O’s or to serve pancakes. They will show up and serve L’s, taking the torch ahead to be the best of the best.

The quest to become the best of the best started off on a wonderful note. The Street Profits defeated Cesaro and Nakamura. The latter were nowhere close as the Street Profits dominated the match throughout. The tag team champions won the match and some momentum on the road to Survivor Series.

It’s OFFICIAL! Sasha Banks and Bayley next week on SmackDown for the Women’s Championship.

Sasha Banks walked out to cut a promo warning Raw Women’s champion Asuka ahead of Survivor Series. She also warned the entire locker room that now she is the BluePrint, and the Boss of SmackDown.

Bayley then walked out and claimed Banks could not beat Asuka without her. She declared that it was easy to win a title but much more difficult to keep it.

The former SmackDown women’s champion then used her right for a rematch and challenged Banks for a Championship match next week. The segment ended with Banks asking Bayley to bring everything she has because “backstabbing bit**** never win.”
