Bayley Achieves a Major Milestone in WWE

Celebrations are in order because Bayley has made history. She has officially crossed the 300-day mark as the WWE  SmackDown Women’s Champion, marking a monumental achievement.

Bayley won the Championship after a major feud with Charlotte last year on October 11. On that episode of SmackDown, she made the big heel turn and dropped her “Bayley Buddies” and got a new haircut. 

She then challenged Charlotte Flair to the title and managed to get the pinfall victory, surprising a shocked Charlotte. She then grabbed the mic and made her heel turn more official than ever by shouting “Sc*** all of you!” To the fans watching. 

Since then, Bayley has had a career-defining run as the heel. All the glory came with its fair share of talk, and we couldn’t hear enough of the Champion. She put her money where her mouth is, however, and managed to beat every single competitor and challenger that came to take her throne.

Do not take for granted how much “The Role Model” has kept the others at bay. Over the year she has been one of the best performers on the SmackDown Roster.

When Sasha Banks also stunned the WWE Universe by returning as a heel, Bayley went back to her close friend. Even though the two have had their considerable differences in the past, the heel characters have brought them closer than ever. 

Bayley has been the most dominant Superstar in the Women’s division

In fact, I’d go so far as to say the two are working even better as a team. The pairing proved effective, and the two soon challenged Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. They managed to win the same on the June 5 episode of SmackDown this year.

The win got Bayley a pass into the exclusive double champion club, and subsequently led to the creation of ‘Bayley Dos Straps’. Banks & Bayley have emerged as the most dominant Superstars in the Women’s division following decisive victories over the others.

If Bayley can hold onto her title for a little over two months more, she will become one of the very few Superstars to have held the Championship for over a year. This achievement would also cement her status as one of the greatest.

Banks and Bayley now hold all the titles the main roster has to offer for the Women’s Division, which makes them the concentrated target of every other Superstar. 

They have made more enemies than they count, and will have to watch every step very carefully. Asuka has also emerged as a major rival since Bayley made the feud personal. 

Will the entire thing blow up in their faces, or do the duo have the skills to pay the bills. We will soon find out the fate of the “Golden Role Models” at SummerSlam. For now, Bayley can celebrate this milestone of an achievement.
