The final SmackDown ended with John Cena and Kevin Owens standing tall at the end of the night. As Cena said while challenging The Bloodline, he might have ended the group’s winning streak tonight.
The match had several good moments, but ‘The Cenation Leader’ was the biggest attraction on SmackDown. The words Hustle, Loyalty and Respect flaunted all over the Amalie Arena, but a few fans seem not to be impressed by the match.

The match started with Owens and Zayn as The Bloodline dominating for the first half. However, The Prizefighter seems to carry the match for more time. The match was short and there were several commercial time.
However, seeing ‘Super Cena’ win was a satisfying moment for the fans. WWE shared on Twitter writing, “.@FightOwensFight and @JohnCena pick up the win over @WWERomanReigns & @SamiZayn! #SmackDown”

The good moments included Cena going toe-to-toe with Zayn and Reigns in the ring. Moreover, the double Five Knuckle Shuffle from Cena and Owens got a huge pop. Nevertheless, the match was for a shorter time, which might have upset several fans who were rooting for the match.
Fans call John Cena and Kevin Owens vs The Bloodline ‘Overhyped’
The Cenation Leader’s return match was thought of as a major one by the fans. However, they might have been disappointed as the match was short-lived and Cena didn’t wrestle for much time. Given below are some of those reactions.
Cena returning to the ring is always a pleasure for the fandom.

The match was a short one, but the entire WWE Universe was already loving it!
This match shows that you don't need to have wrestlers bleedingg to make a great match. All you need is charisma and storytelling skills.
— Tirto (@Cichatirto) December 31, 2022
Will The Tribal Chief count this defeat as his first loss in the last two years?
Yo I don’t care what anyone says Roman reigns in s no longer undefeated. Just because he didn’t get pinned doesn’t mean nothing. https://t.co/eYFwfmrzxc

Is this roman’s first televised L since he’s been champ?

Unsurprisingly, a few fans didn’t like the match and expected more out of it!
Honestly expected a lot more from this match, man.
Love all 4 of these guys but this didn't deliver like I was thinking it would. https://t.co/BwisY5KXau

Really short match that was over hyped asf. Good smack down tho https://t.co/kPmQYQE6Jb
— ThatOneGuyAaron™ (@Dizzle541) December 31, 2022
That was too short for such an overhyped match, it didn't deliver in quality either and the pacing was weird, especially with all the commercials. My opinion tho, sorry not sorry! Great #SmackDown overall, tho.

More upset fans.
kind of an L match??? that’s the best y’all could do for the last match of the year?
— Dimes (@Jason_Linkzy) December 31, 2022
It was so quick
— EREN🐐🇦🇷 (@diagne_king) December 31, 2022
Why was it so short
— shadow king (@dripgodwoo) December 31, 2022
Cena had his match after 475+ days and we can understand why he spends less time inside the ring. However, the fans expected more action from the 16-time world champion, but they didn’t get to see it.

Are Sami Zayn’s days in The Bloodline coming to an end?
This loss on SmackDown can be called the first defeat for The Bloodline in WWE in the past two years. Even though Zayn took the pin, he is the Honorary Uce and his defeat is the entire stable’s defeat.
