The two top SmackDown stars are ready to deliver one more banger match at Rumble. Previously, Owens and Reigns had matches at the opening PLE of Road to WrestleMania.

In 2017, they had a No-Disqualification match which Owens won after interference from Braun Strowman. Moreover, three years later, in 2021, when Reigns became ‘The Tribal Chief’, they clashed again at the same PLE in a ‘Last Man Standing’ match.

To a surprise, their previous two matches had the Universal Title on the line. The title was exclusive to the RAW brand in 2017 and was exclusive to SmackDown in 2021. Subsequently, this year, as Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, they’ll clash for both titles in 2023.
