Over the past couple of months, Roman Reigns has been showing WWE just how big an asset he is to the company. As Universal Champion, he has unleashed the dark side on his fans.

He has competed far and wide, taking on and beating legends of the business, and has had his share of big matches. While he does have a lot of feathers in his cap, there are things that he does not appreciate.

One of these things was apparently a clueless Braun Strowman. In a recent interview with CBS Sports, “The Big Dog” explained how Strowman didn’t know where he was in his first days in the business.

“If it’s been 125 times, on Day 1, he didn’t know left from right. It’s been amazing to see his growth as a performer. There’s times he’ll say some stupid stuff and you want to smack him, but he means well,” said Roman.

The Tribal Chief has faced Braun Strowman on multiple occasions. The two have had storyline feuds against each other and big showdown moments.

Roman Reigns is satisfied with Braun Strowman’s progress

The most recent of these came on the latest episode of SmackDown, where Reigns annihilated the giant. However, behind all the fight, he has a deep-rooted respect for how much Strowman has improved.

“He’s a big guy with a lot of charisma and a very lovable guy. There are times where you can see that he’s getting it and starting to understand what he’s supposed to do and why he’s supposed to do it,” said Reigns. “For me to have been one of the first to take him on and show him the way, I’m just happy that he trusted me.”

“The Monster Among Men” left SmackDown at the mercy of the Universal Champion. He definitely will not be challenging Reigns anytime in the near future.

Although, it does look like Strowman will get there soon. He has come a long way physically since he first joined WWE and will undoubtedly take back that Universal Championship soon, one way or another.
