One of the key performers of WWE right now is SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. Her feud with Bayley has managed to peak WWE viewership for the blue brand for weeks. It goes without saying that she is the most popular Superstar in WWE right now.

Although she is currently fending off Bayley and trying to stay out of the end of Carmella’s boots, ‘The Boss’ still went out to pick a bone with another prominent Superstar.

In a recent interview with WWE on BT Sport, Sasha Banks went out on a limb and challenged NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray to a match! 

As you can see, Banks even agreed to buy an island mid-way for the fight since she is that rich. She admits that the fight is a dream match for her and is willing to make it happen.

NXT UK has been doing exceedingly well over the weeks

Over the past few weeks, NXT UK has been getting a lot of attention for its content. Walter’s title defense against Ilja Dragunov was a particularly interesting fight that managed to bag a 5-star rating from Dave Meltzer.

Kay Lee Ray herself has managed to make a huge impact in her scene. Being the crowd-favorite Champion, she has proved her worth and is expected to someday be the main roster Champion. She is already the longest reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion of all time.

She will defend her title next week against a very determined Piper Niven, who is another prominent name in the UK roster. Although Niven is on her mind, she will surely consider giving Banks a taste of the Scottish fist.

Sasha Banks is already one of the best female Superstars to step into the ring. She set a record at Hell in a Cell for being the only Superstar to win all main roster Women’s Championships in a year.

In 2020 so far, she has been Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion as well as Women’s Tag Team Champion along with Bayley.

We are eager to see the dream match happen between Banks and Kay Lee Ray. Maybe when the crowd fills the stands again, the NXT UK Women’s Champion will give Banks a run for her money.
