The WWE Universe was rocked to its core when Roman Reigns made a big return at SummerSlam. The long-absent prodigal son had returned and was more powerful than ever.
To make things even better, he formed an unexpected alliance with manager Paul Heyman. No one expected Reigns to make this dream team-up with one of the most recognized faces in WWE today.
However, it seems that Paul Heyman may not be just the rosy character Reigns thinks he is. It has been noticed that whenever Roman lifts his Universal Title up in the air, Heyman has a scared look on his face.

If you notice in all segments and promos, its as if Heyman has seen a ghost. Its as if he is scared of Reigns. What could be the reason for this fright?
Paul Heyman has been the manager of legendary WWE Champions for decades now. His influence goes back to the days of “Ravishing” Rick Rude. He has always maintained that firms over himself.
Perhaps Paul Heyman sees the monster Roman Reigns has turned into. The manager realizes that Reigns is the one client he does not have control over. He made Roman too powerful an entity to handle.
With seemingly no person to stop him, “The Big Dog” is limitless. He has no bounds and can make the entire WWE Universe his “yard”. The lust for power and dominance is so profound, that Reigns does not mind battering his own family to keep his position.
Why does Paul Heyman always gawk at the Universal title when Roman Reigns holds it up? Every single time!
Must mean something 🤔 is he to be trusted… theories welcome. #SmackDown

Paul Heyman could turn on Roman Reigns big time
Maybe Paul Heyman is just scared, or maybe its something much more. For over 13 years, Paul Heyman was the manager of Brock Lesnar. “The Beast Incarnate” was one of WWE’s out dominant Superstars.
Before his contract with WWE expired, Heyman may have had his eyes set on the Universal title. We could just see him turning on Roman Reigns when the time is right.

Of course, loyalties matter first. We have seen him do it before when he turned on CM Punk as soon as Lesnar returned. There’s nothing to say he won’t turn on Reigns.

Paul Heyman is a very complicated man. There is really no telling what’s on his mind and we must be prepared to see it coming this time.
