The Bloodline saga has been dominating WWE for over three years. Even since the beginning, the storyline has kept the WWE Universe engrossed and hooked to the TV. It is known that Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have a big hand in the creative aspect of the storyline.

However, there is another person, a 64-year-old WWE Hall of Famer to be exact, who has heavily contributed to the storyline. The superstar in question here is Michael Hayes. He currently works for WWE as Vice President of Creative Writing and Booking, as well as a senior producer.

Fightful Select reported that Hayes is behind the creative veil that produces all angles, feuds, and segments related to The Bloodline in WWE. Anything that has Reigns involved, means Hayes is the primary producer. While Reigns and Heyman supply the ideas, Hayes handles the majority of the storyline execution.

Reigns was absent from TV for a while post his match with Jey Uso. During that time, WWE went through creative changes. Endeavor officially bought WWE and Vince McMahon was evicted from the creative team, giving Triple H full control.

Despite all the changes, Hayes still remains the primary producer for all The Bloodline segments in the promotion, Fightful Select reports.

Regardless of the show, Michael Hayes remains in charge of handling production on most The Bloodline-related angles, interviews, and segments. So what has Hayes planned for The Bloodline next?

LA Knight goes after Reigns’ title

Reigns returned from his TV absence last week at the season premiere of SmackDown. John Cena kicked off the show, but The Bloodline interrupted his segment. Cena then stood face to face with the Undisputed Universal Champion and even acknowledged him.

He admitted he didn’t deserve a title push, but knew someone who did. LA Knight’s music hit and the fastest-rising star in the blue brand show’s history confronted The Tribal Chief. Moments later, he was blindsided by Jimmy Uso. In the main event later, he faced Solo Sikoa and even defeated him.

But Reigns turned his night sour as he delivered a spear on Knight. It looks like WWE is building a match between Knight and Reigns at the next PLE Crown Jewel, which will take place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, 4 November 2023. The Defiant One can even end Reigns’ 1140+ streak at the event.
