Many directors, recognizing the amazing stories in WWE, produced biopics on the stories of famous wrestlers.
For a while now there have been talks about one such biopic of Hulk Hogan. The Thor superstar Chris Hemsworth is to play the role of Hall of Famer wrestler Hogan. However, the biopic is being delayed for a long time because of several technical issues.

Chris Hemsworth is popular for his versatile choice of characters. He has portrayed iconic roles on screen, which will always be in the memories of fans. After successfully delivering the most iconic characters like Kale, Kim Hyde, King Arthur, Thor, and many more, he is now going to play Hulk Hogan.
Recently in an interview with British GQ, while answering the FAQ, Hemsworth gave an update on the film. He said,
“I’ve spoken to Todd Phillips about it a few times about making it and we’ve both had pretty wild schedules. There is a, a film there, and a story, which could be really exciting and fun, which we’re both pretty enthusiastic about. But who knows? If it is still in this sort of ether of possibilities. For me, it’s less about what roles I wanna play and more about who I wanna work with.”
In his previous interviews, he spoke that the script was not ready and his characterization was still taking place. Hemsworth expressed that he and the director finally agree on the script, but there can be various possibilities for it.
However, it seems like the work is still in progress and there can be an official announcement soon about it. Popular director Todd Phillips of ‘Joker’ fame is going to direct the Netflix biopic.
Speaking about it in an interview, Hemsworth expressed his excitement regarding playing a unique character, and it is altogether a different world and experience for him. He says it is going to be a unique experience for the audience as well.
While expressing his excitement for the same, Hulk Hogan sounded enthusiastic about the project. He said that Hemsworth might even win the Oscar for the role. Nevertheless, fans will be encouraged about the prospect of the Hogan biopic resuming production in the near future.
The Hogan Biopic to resume after Hemsworth’s other commitments
Hulk Hogan’s biopic has been in motion for a year now. Studio executives delayed the biopic last year, as Hemsworth was on a break after completing his tour.

Hemsworth had a lot of commitments and badly needed a break to spend time with family. In his interview with British GQ, Hemsworth gave an update and said they are facing a delay because of their busy schedules.
The movie is based on The Hulkster’s rise through the wrestling ranks during the 1980s. The movie will feature the major events of his life. As the movie is still in the stage of production and technical work, it will take some more time to go on the floors.
