“Sitting Right There”: John Cena Names the Next Roman Reigns of WWE, Logan Paul Counters With Judgment Day Member

Logan Paul has been one of the brightest prospects in the WWE for quite some time now. Ever since making his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38, the Maverick has been on a roll. The current United States champion has also faced Roman Reigns, Ricochet, Rey Mysterio, and Seth Rollins in singles matches.

And it hasn’t even been a long time since he transitioned to pro wrestling, so the sky is the limit for the social media star. That is what Hollywood and WWE superstar John Cena believes too, as he names him as the next Roman Reigns.

John Cena labels Logan Paul as the next Roman Reigns while Paul counters with another name

In a recent episode of Impaulsive, 16-time world champion John Cena sat down with Logan Paul as they discussed Hollywood and all things wrestling. Cena noted an interesting facet of pro wrestling as he stated that the masses expect a star from the next generation to equal the stardom of the superstar from the yesteryears. He conveyed his pick for the superstar who could match Reigns’ stardom. “WWE has never been at a loss for talent. They go through these small patches in the timeline where they’re like, What are they going to do next? Who’s going to be the next Stone Cold? Who’s gonna be the next John Cena? And now it’s like, Who’s gonna be the next Roman Reigns? Sitting right there.” (Hinting at Logan).

However, Paul had another name in mind as the next Roman Reigns, as he name-dropped Dominik Mysterio from the Judgment Day as the most viable candidate. This was something that even John Cena couldn’t deny. The Hollywood star didn’t deny the prowess of Mysterio and too praised his prowess as well. “Maybe I personally think it’s Dominic Mysterio. Shout out, by the way,” said Paul. Cena too chimed in and said, “Absolutely shout out to Dom; absolutely shout out. He’s doing fantastic.”

However, the 46-year-old continued to praise the young WWE star later, appreciating his journey from being a part-timer to a champion in the WWE right now. He also gave Paul his dues for being willing to put his body on the line, doing moves that he wouldn’t perform. Moreover, Cena also praised Paul for taking his WWE endeavor seriously.

With such praise from a legend like the 16-time world champion, Paul has all the more reason to give it his best. Maybe we could see him go one-on-one with the legend himself soon if everything works out. For that to happen, John Cena needs to find some free time after promoting his upcoming movie.
