Several legendary factions existed in WWE and even today, there are also some factions that still exist. But none can reach the heights of the faction “Evolution”, comprising Randy Orton, Triple H, Batista, and Ric Flair.
Even though they played the heel character, all the members of Evolution successfully built a connection with the WWE Universe. Such was the impact that even today a throwback picture of them can make fans emotional.
Recently, on Twitter, Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista all appeared in a single frame in an iconic photo from 2004. In the photo, all the four members of Evolution got spotted together at the Knicks vs Celtics game in 2004.

One person even compared Triple H’s look to a young Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. This is indeed a legendary picture with four WWE legends in one frame.

However, all things have to end. And so it happened with Evolution in 2005 when it got completely dissolved.

How did Evolution get dissolved?
Cracks appeared in the faction in 2004 after Randy Orton won the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam. Orton defeated Chris Benoit to win the title.
Things got turned upside down for the Apex Predator of WWE when the other members of Evolution turned on him during an episode of Monday Night Raw.
Following Orton’s departure, Batista turned on Triple H and even challenged him at WrestleMania 21. On that night, he defeated Triple H to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
After a feud with Triple H following his WrestleMania win, Batista left the faction. But the ultimate nail in the coffin came when Triple H attacked Ric Flair with a sledgehammer, leading to a feud between the two men afterward.
