Mandy Rose and her fiance, Tino Sabbatelli, recently premiered a new podcast together. The first episode of Power Alphas didn’t include any guests but the two co-hosts talking with and about each other. Minutes after giving their respective warm introductions, the two started to ask each other questions that fans wouldn’t otherwise know the answers to.

Sabbatelli asked a much personal question to his fiancee. Rose answered with all honesty as she began talking about the dark parts of her adolescence and a childhood nickname that she received from her brothers. This story of hers might also make you recall the one that Dwayne Johnson shared more than two years ago.

Mandy Rose started by telling Sabbatelli about the ‘insecurities’ she had growing up, probably as an adolescent. Since she was a bit “thicker” as a girl, she had her own insecurities to deal with. This reminded Sabbatelli to ask her about the nickname her brothers gave her growing up. Rose then replied, “My nickname was ‘hamburgers’. Thanks, guys, you gave me a complex to become a fitness model.

However, she quickly cleared out that this nickname didn’t give her any complex or insecurities. Rose further explained the origin of this nickname as she added, “So, my brothers were like, ‘How many hamburgers are you gonna eat?’ I was little, I said, ‘A hundred’. From then on there, it was hamburgers.

So, rather than relating to her insecure self, ‘hamburgers’ was a nickname that Mandy Rose received as a callback to a funny incident of her as a kid.

Rose’s ‘non-powerful’ nickname is similar to that of Dwayne Johnson

In a Zoom interview in January 2021, The Rock talked about some details from his personal life. During the same, he also revealed a nickname that he had and used to find rather embarrassing. He confessed in the interview that while he was staying at his godparents’ at the age of 6 months or so, they accidentally gave him a new nickname.

When Ata Johnson, The Brahma Bull’s mother, asked his godmother if the little Rock had wet his diaper, she replied that Johnson was just a little ‘Dewey’. From then on, it became a nickname that Johnson’s parents used in front of his friends, girlfriends, or anyone. The ‘non-powerful’ nickname made it a bit embarrassing for Johnson.
