“Sign Him”: Fans React as Rey Mysterio Introduces the ‘Future Mysterio’, and It’s Neither His Son Nor Any WWE Star

Many WWE superstar inherits their wrestling talent from their legendary forefathers. There are many iconic families that brought generations of talent to the business. But a few families saw two generations fighting in the same era. The Mysterios family is one of them.

Both Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio are currently performing in the promotion of different brands. However, things between them are not okay as they form an on-screen rivalry ever since Dominik turned on his father and chose to join the Judgement Day last year.

The intense rivalry saw a lot of back and forth before coming to a temporary settlement at WrestleMania last month while elder Mysterio finally succeeded in beating his son in a high-voltage feud. But the issues between them still continue to unfold.

Given their intense grudge against each other, Rey certainly doesn’t want to pass the torch of his legacy to his son, more prominently a rival.

But it seems like the veteran’s agile observation found a gem out on the street whom he can safely call a future Mysterio. Well, the Hall of Famer recently posted an Instagram video of him fighting the skilled kid with heavy traffic behind and it totally roused the internet. He wrote in the caption, ‘Futuro Mysterio #VivaLaRaza🇲🇽’

Fans seem impressed with the extraordinary display of talent by a street kid and didn’t hesitate to call him/her better than Rey’s own blood. They go like, ‘This kid has more talent than @dominik_35 😂😂😂😂’, ‘Still better than Dom 😂’, ‘He should be a future wrestler.‘

Some of them noted this is the best thing they watched over the internet. ‘This is the coolest shit ever🙌’, Damn that’s 🔥, they stated. One of the users even urged WWE to take notice of that budding talent and sign him in the promotion. He wrote, ‘Sign him @wwe future Rey @619iamlucha.’ A few of them also acknowledged that talent needs no blood and background. They commented, ‘Wooow! How doe we support them?, ‘A lot of undiscovered talent on the streets💎💎’.

Despite introducing another as the future Mysterio, it seems like the father Mysterio however has some hope left for his son.

Rey Mysterio hoped to reconcile with his son someday

The latest dispute in the iconic father-son rivalry came to light during a WWE SmackDown episode when Dom literally slapped his dad in front of a large crowd in Sun Juan, Puerto Rico. It seems the boiling heat between the same blood is still far from coming to a conclusion. That being said, the elder Mysterio still felt his son will change in the future and correct his mistakes, eventually.

During an interview with Impaulsive, the 48-year-old noted, ” [The feud] came from a bit of jealousy from my son, but he knows, man, I’ve given him everything, the lifestyle that I wish I would have had as a kid. But at the end of the day, when you said it was just a phase that we went through, I’m hoping this is just a phase.”

We need to see how WWE plans to end the grave rivalry between the father-son duo in the future.
