Earlier this year, Steve Austin talked on the same topic and revealed that he wouldn’t mind making a comeback. WWE fans last saw him in the squared circle at WrestleMania 38. Austin revealed that he would like to return for a final career match, but doesn’t want to put any sort of pressure on the promotion to make it happen.

The reason why John Cena teasing Stone Cold’s comeback is so important is because the Hollywood superstar is also rumored to show up at the biggest PLE of the year. Coming back to the Stamford-based company at WrestleMania is a classic ‘John Cena move’ to pull off. Hence, fans are predicting something similar this year.

This is how John Cena could show up in WWE this year

In a recent episode of his popular podcast, 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff sat down and speculated on some ongoing WrestleMania XL rumors, ahead of the big event. While talking about John Cena’s probable appearance in the Stamford-based company, the WCW legend said that he could appear to help out a babyface this year.

Although the wrestlers in the promotion are strong enough to handle themselves, receiving some help from ‘one of the biggest babyfaces of all time’ would only make their chances of winning stronger. Bischoff didn’t speculate the match in which Cena may appear, but it is a possibility worth waiting for.
