AEW is on the verge of making history. The ever-growing war between AEW and WWE continues to create suspense among fans. But it seems like Tony Khan might finally get one up on Vince McMahon and Triple H with his event, AEW All In on 27th August, at the historic Wembley Stadium Arena.
In the latest developments, the spectacular event might put a major dent in WWE’s all-time record PPV numbers. The achievement of this milestone could make a major statement.

Tony Khan trumps Vince McMahon?
We previously got to know how AEW had amassed over 69,000 tickets to make itself the 2nd biggest paid audience for a pro-wrestling show since 2016. Moreover, the show only trails behind WrestleMania 32.
But there’s no stopping the incredible numbers as the company has earned revenue and sold more tickets, inching closer to the target.

According to Wrestle Ops, the brand has now sold over 80,000 tickets. This brings it closer to the highest attendance record, which is held by none other than WWE.
The all-time record for the announced attendance stands at a whopping 101,000 (inflated) which WWE achieved for WrestleMania 32, back in 2016. However, the actual tickets distributed by WWE stood at 84,000, both paid and free.

With AEW so close to surpassing WrestleMania’s 32 records, it clearly puts pressure on Vince McMahon and Triple H. fter his recent comments on calling AEW, a secondary promotion.
Triple H could eat his words over secondary jibe
Recently, Triple H made shocking remarks against Khan by calling AEW a secondary promotion when asked about Cody Rhodes’ return to WWE from AEW.

Tony Khan fired back in an emphatic fashion. He mentioned that in certain territories, taking in current sales as a massive point, especially the UK, WWE was secondary to AEW.
