The Undertaker has retired from in-ring competition in 2020. Now, Vince McMahon will soon induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. But this could have happened eight years ago.

Eight years ago, ‘The Phenom’ could have found himself in the WWE Hall of Fame after WWE invited him for his WWE Hall of Fame induction. But The Undertaker turned it down because of a particular reason.

During an interview with The Dallas Morning News, the legendary pro wrestler talked about this and revealed the reason behind his decision.

The Undertaker said, “I turned it down the first time because I knew I had unfinished business. I want to say after the Brock WrestleMania, I think it was after that. I got concussed and I don’t remember even having that match.”

“So, I wanted to at least have a match that I could remember. Fortunately, we had the Boneyard match, and, and I said, ‘Alright, that’s it. I think I’m good, it’s time to call it a day,’” he added.

Here ‘The Phenom’ is talking about his match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. Reports claimed The Undertaker had also been hospitalized after the match because of the concussion he suffered during the match.

His match against Brock at WrestleMania 30 is going to be remembered forever for a special reason. The Undertaker’s famous WrestleMania streak ended on this night as Brock Lesnar defeated the four-time WWE Champion.

Did Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker compete against each other again after WrestleMania 30?

Yes, The Undertaker and the Beast Incarnate came face to face inside the squared circle after their famous WrestleMania 30 match.

The two men faced each other at WWE SummerSlam in 2015. On that night, ‘The Phenom’ got his revenge by defeating Brock Lesnar.
