WWE Money in the Bank 2021 is just a week away. And the main event looks set with Bobby Lashley defending his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston. However, the ‘All-Mighty’ WWE Champion hasn’t had quite the momentum he would’ve love to heading into the pay-per-view.

Last week, The New Day defeated Bobby Lashley and MVP in a tag team match on Raw. This loss didn’t sit well with Lashley and MVP as they were the one’s who requested it.

Hence, to make things right, Lashley versus Xavier Woods was scheduled for this week. Shockingly, things didn’t turn out so good this week either!

Xavier Woods stuns WWE Champion Bobby Lashley on Raw

Xavier Woods and Bobby Lashley kicked off WWE Raw with an exciting one on one match. Bobby Lashley was looking to get the momentum rolling for him, while Woods looked to get revenge for being annihilated by Lashley three weeks ago inside Hell in a Cell.

Lashley charged onto Woods immediately and got control of the match early on. But Xavier Woods bounced back pretty soon. He got the better of Lashley with some strong kicks, and an impressive senton. However, that didn’t last long as the ‘All-Mighty‘ brought Woods’ momentum to a halt.

Lashley then looked brought Xavier back in the ring and delivered a rib-shattering spear in what looked like the beginning of the end. However, just Lashley went to put the full stop on Woods, the New Day member countered and rolled up Bobby Lashley to pick up a shocking victory!

It was a shocking moment for everyone in the WWE ThunderDome, including Kofi Kingston. It was stunning for MVP and Lashley as well. In fact, the ‘Dominator’ got so upset that he left the arena without even talking to MVP. After all, he never expected to lose heading into a title match on PPV.
