Edge spoke in support of his wife, Beth Phoenix, appreciating her hard work in a reply to a Twitter user. The duo married in October 2016 after welcoming their daughters, Lyric and Ruby.
The Rated R Superstar explained that his wife had “busted her a** off” for the position that she currently holds at WWE NXT.
I agree, although I’m biased, but she has busted her ass to find her voice in this job. If you knew the technical gymnastics she’s maneuvering while commentating, because she’s doing it remotely, it would blow your mind. She’s like Oracle from Batman. No idea how she does it. https://t.co/6bZ369kgcX

Former WWE Superstar Lance Storm also agreed with Edge and lavished praise on the ‘Glamazon.’
I don’t think people realize just how hard that job is. Can’t imagine also having to do it remotely.

This was not the first time that Edge has appreciated his wife in public. Towards the end of December 2020, Edge posted a picture of them on Twitter. A user passed a remark about Beth Phoenix that infuriated Edge and he blasted the troll for his negativity.

What you see is Adam standing with his wife & mother of their children whom he loves unconditionally. Assuming from your page that you won’t find out what that’s like & your biggest concern is making sure you have enough lubricant to get by until you next crawl out of your hole https://t.co/rY6kEg9pP6

What does Beth Phoenix feel about her current job with WWE?
Phoenix joined the WWE NXT commentary team on May 15th, 2019. This was the first time she became a full-time commentator for matches not involving women.
In an interview, Phoenix explained that even though it’s a difficult job and involves a lot of learning, she’s trying to make it work to the best of her capacity.
“It’s been one of those things where I’ve had to just kind of commit myself, and give myself up to the process. I fail all the time, and I’m always making mistakes, but we learn each and every week, and I’m learning to find my voice, and my place in the team, because, being a color commentator, adding that analyst role, is really different than being play-by-play.”
“It was definitely not something I would have ever thought I would do. If you told me five years ago I was going to be sitting alongside Mauro [Ranallo] and Nigel McGuiness in NXT, I would have laughed at you. Here I find myself, and I’m just giving it my best.”
