Born in 1987, AJ Le is currently working with WOW (Women of Wrestling). She started her WWE career in May 2009 as an FCW star. Later, in 2011, she debuted in WWE as a main roster. Initially, she was part of the tag team, “The Chickbusters” with Kaitlyn on her side. Throughout her career as a main roster, AJ Lee was a part of several storylines, especially the love angles. But in April 2013, AJ Lee won the battle royal and became the #1 contender for the WWE Divas championship. Late, she defeated Kaitlyn and won the championship in Payback pay-per-view. During her reign, AJ Lee defeated several opponents to defend her title. She even became the longest-reigning Divas champion at that time. At WrestleMania 30, she defended her title in a 14-woman match. But, the very next night at Raw, she lost her title to Paige, ending her reign on 295 days.
On April 3, 2015, WWE announced AJ Lee’s retirement. The main reason behind her early retirement was permanent damage to her cervical spine. Since then, AJ Lee keeps her distance from the company.
