“She’s a Scary Woman…”: Female WWE Star Takes a Personal Dig at Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey once again ascertained her dominance in WWE after she captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She defeated Liv Morgan in an Extreme Rules match at the namesake premium live event to win the title. This was Rousey’s third singles title win since her debut in WWE.

The former UFC Champion has brought his MMA toughness with her into the squared circle. She looks like she could bring a lot of pain to her opponents whenever she is in the ring. However, a top female WWE star recently said that Rousey may be an intimidating wrestler but questioned her intelligence.

‘The Rowdy One’ has a target on her back now that she is at the top of the SmackDown’s Women division. Recently, the former Queen of the Ring winner, Zelina Vega, made her return to WWE TV as part of the Legado Del Fantasma faction. In an interview, the wrestler-slash-manager talked about Ronda Rousey and how will she deal with the current SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Vega said Ronda Rousey is a scary woman

With an MMA background and dominant run as the UFC Champion, Ronda Rousey has added a ‘Raw’ legitimacy to the WWE’s women’s division. She uses quite painful-looking submission holds during her matches and her ruthless streak means her opponents have a tough time dealing with her.

Now, after regaining the SmackDown Women’s title, she will look to go on another run as champion and it won’t be easy to take the title off her this time around. Zelina Vega, who returned to WWE after an injury, to join Legado Del Fantasma, recently talked up Rousey as a scary individual but raised questions about her intelligence.

On a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio,”, she talked about how she plans to deal with Ronda Rousey. She implied that she would use her mind as an advantage against the “Baddest Woman on the Planet”.

Vega stated, “No shock to anybody that she’s a scary woman, but there’s brawn and there’s brains. And I don’t know that she has the second one.” Moreover, she mentioned that Rousey will have a target on her back because of her status as the champion.

It is clear that Zelina Vega wants to go after the SmackDown Women’s Championship at some point down the line. But right now she will have her hands full as her faction deals with Hit Row. She got into a physical altercation with a Hit Row member on the blue brand.

As for Ronda Rousey, she refused to announce an open challenge on the last episode of SmackDown. But we may see one from the champion this week. Maybe Vega can answer that open challenge and see how much brains Rousey has.
