Dwayne Johnson and John Cena are two generational stars in pro wrestling. While The Rock ruled the late 90s and early 2000s, Cena established his reign in the following decade. Between them, they have won the WWE World Championship 26 times. No wonder the two wrestler-turned-actors enjoy adulation from pro-wrestling fans. Recently, former WWE superstar Sasha Banks said she wants people to think of her on the same level as the two legends and fans had a lot to say about the claim.
Fans roast Sasha Banks for bold demands
Sasha Banks has done it again. Days after comparing herself to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Banks, who goes by her present in-ring name Mercedes Mone, said she would not stop until given the same amount of respect as The Great One, John Cena, and Kenny Omega.

This one gave her a ‘reality check’.
Good ambition, but very unrealistic at the moment. Especially when the casual fans don’t even know her as Mercedes Mone’ they know her as Sasha Banks.

Cena, Omega, and Dwayne all didn't walk out twice
Reality is those performers are who they are because they consistently Performed, even when they weren't being made a champ.
The second Mercedes saw something she didn't like, she abandoned it.
She will never be them

Meanwhile, the IWGP Women’s Champion continues to be salty toward her old employer.
Sasha Banks says women wrestlers in Japan are legit
After walking away from the WWE, Banks appeared at this year’s NJPW Wrestling Kingdom as Mercedes Mone. She later defeated KAIRI to win the IWGP Women’s Championship. A few days ago, the 31-year-old took to social media to inform the world that she’s moving to Japan full-time and is also learning the local language to facilitate her stay.

Meanwhile, the former WWE Women Tag Team Champion took a shot at her ex-colleagues by praising female wrestlers in Japan.
Speaking at a Q&A panel for The Mandalorian at Megacon, Banks said, “It’s definitely not the same. It’s definitely not the same. It’s so different,” adding, “The girls over there are legit.”
She had also taken a jab at WWE earlier in April, saying she’s used to “wrestling three-minute matches, five-minute matches”. The statement was a hit at female wrestling booking in WWE.
