WWE Raw 15/7 descended upon the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio, with Rhea Ripley addressing the affairs that got on her nerves amidst the long hiatus. After some dramatic back and forth between Mam, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio, we have been pushed toward the stellar Big Bronson Reed vs. Sheamus match. Two powerhouses displayed a lot of strength throughout, ultimately leading to the Irish Curse getting the upper hand by pinfall with the Jumbo Tsuruta rising knee. That said, despite scoring a smooth victory, Sheamus received a huge backlash on Twitter, with the blame upon his changed theme song exclusively adduced by Def Rebel.

The most common allegation is that Def Rebel-made entrance themes most of the time started with a wrestler’s catchphrase or a boring predictive sound, leading it to be perceived as hugely generic to fans. The lack of creativity and liveliness in the music has been a recurring issue with the group’s output.

Fans also often complain that the indistinct nature of the music makes them confused about who’s running into the ring next during the marquee live events.

According to a report from Fightful Select WWE, higher-ups are well aware of the frustration of the fans. And it is believed that the band that started producing music for the Stamford-based company in 2019 will run out of an active contract by the end of this year. But fans don’t seem to wait for that long as they lashed out at the authorities right after Sheamus’ entrance tonight.

WWE fans have a keen ear when it comes to the iconic entrance theme songs of the superstars. Several notable bands like Godsmack and Disturbed have gained a high demand among fans over time. However, in the case of a home-based music group, Def Rebel, the picture seems different. Fans have been showing intense distaste for their work for a while. They made a monkey of the New York-based band when AJ Styles’ new theme song was brought forth in the past. Tonight, in Ohio, they gave off the same disapproval of Sheamus’s entrance.

Fans making memes and trolls about the infamous band have been the norm. But everything was fun unless and until it affected Sheamus’ on the show. A few fans directly called out Triple H and Co. for committing a sin by allowing the mishap to happen with their favorite Raw star.

They demand a firing of the band.

Most fans want the old theme song back.

The show continues to be cranked up going forward.
