Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam is just around the corner, and has created a lot of buzzes this year. Black Adam is supposed to be a game-changing film in the DCEU, and Dwayne Johnson has worked extremely hard for it. Apart from DC, Johnson has also starred in another film from a competing big studio house.

In 2021, Dwayne Johnson starred in Disney’s Jungle Cruise alongside Emily Blunt. Both Blunt and Johnson share a hilarious relationship with each other, and are great friends in real life as well. The duo starred together in the film based on a Disney theme park ride.

The film received generally positive reviews. And like any other film of Johnson, he gave his heart out for promoting the film. During the promotions, he was present on Jimmy Kimmel Live, with the guest host, Anthony Anderson. At the show, The Rock spoke about his film, workouts and many other things.

At point of the show, Anderson asked about the chemistry between Blunt and Johnson, and if it was strictly acting on her part or if it was real. Johnson being a goofball, answered in a hilarious manner. He said, “Well, she’s one of the greatest actresses of our generation so the fact that she can act like she really likes me. She should win an oscar. She should win 10 oscars.”

However, he further clarified the good relationship they share, and said, “Emily and I have really an incredible chemistry and it just lit up just like that from the very first day that we met. I love that woman. She’s great, we are great friends. Our families are all great friends.”

Jungle Cruise 2 starring, Emily Blunt, and Dwayne Johnson, is confirmed, however, no release date has yet been out.

Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam opens to a disappointing score

After the huge mishap between Warner Bros and DC, fans were expecting something good from Dwayne Johnson and Black Adam. However, the latest scores by Rotten Tomatoes, tell other wise. After the initial screenings of the film, it received a disappointing score on the movie review website.

However, fans are still excited to see the film, as soon as it releases in theaters despite the poor score. Black Adam currently has a lower score than 2013’s Man of Steel but is rater higher than other DC Projects such as, Justice League and Suicide Squad.

Black Adam will release in theaters on October 21, 2022, and fans are currently losing their mind, waiting for the film.
