For a very long period, the Anoa’i family had contributed to the pro wrestling industry. The Usos, Rocky Johnson, Rikishi, Dwayne Johnson, Roman Reigns, and several other WWE superstars came from the same family and are undoubtedly the biggest names in the company. After nearly two years of training at the WWE Performance Center, Dwayne Johnson’s daughter, Simone Johnson, just made her NXT live debut.

In case you missed it, she made her stage debut during an NXT house event last week in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, she made a promo in the ring where she referred to herself as the “Final Girl” and specifically called out NXT 2.0 Superstar Cora Jade. The Rock finally reacted to her daughter’s WWE debut while speaking to ET’s Rachel Smith.
During the DC League of Super-Pets screening, Rachel Smith questioned him about how proud he was that Simone has finally made her WWE debut. The Rock replied, “She’s fourth, [generation]. She’s made history. Very, very proud of her.”

He added, “She is fiercely independent. It’s very important for her to make her own way. Blaze her own trail. Blaze her own path. She doesn’t come to me looking for a lot, which I respect that. And I’m here watching and supporting. [H/T: Entertainment Tonight]”
Notably, after The Rock, Rocky Johnson, and Peter Maivia, Simone made history with her NXT debut as the first fourth-generation wrestler to ever compete.
The fans have long looked forward to Simone Johnson’s debut
After training at the performance center for the last two years, in May, Simone hinted that soon she will make her debut when she changed her Twitter handle name to Ava Raine. Since then, many have speculated that she will soon make her debut. Additionally, she was later sighted backstage at NXT 2.0 a few weeks ago.

It will be interesting to see what she can bring to the WWE realm now that she has made her debut. Her bouts will keep WWE fans stuck to their screens, considering her lineage. In contrast, Simone made it obvious that she wanted to create her own legacy and be known for it.
