What does the future hold for Shane McMahon?
Shane McMahon has entertained and grabbed the attention of the fans throughout his time in WWE. He did so not only with his in-ring abilities, but also with his promos and segments. Though he had wrestled occasionally in WWE in the past few years, the WWE Universe will once again love to see Vince McMahon’s son back in action.

He may not be able to put his body on the line anymore as he just turned 52 today. On this joyous occasion, Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to wish her brother.

WWE’s official Twitter handle also posted a tweet wishing Shane McMahon on his birthday.

Former WWE superstar James Ellsworth also took to Twitter to wish Shane on his birthday. Well, Ellsworth and McMahon obviously have a history.

While Shane served as SmackDown Commissioner, he declared Ellsworth to be the SmackDown mascot for the 2016 Survivor Series match.
Ellsworth played a huge role in that match and helped to eliminate Braun Strowman. ‘The Monster’ got eliminated by count-out after Ellsworth kept holding onto his leg. However, that night did not end well for James Ellsworth as Strowman chased him, caught him, and put him through a table.

Shane McMahon is the WWE World Cup winner

Shane McMahon replaced The Miz at the WWE World Cup in 2018 after the latter suffered an injury. He defeated Dolph Ziggler in the finals to win the WWE World Cup. Subsequently, The Miz and McMahon formed a tag team and even won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

However, McMahon and The Miz started a feud among themselves soon after they lost the titles. At WrestleMania 35, the two men faced each other in a Falls Count Anywhere match that Shane McMahon won.

When did Shane last wrestle in WWE?
Shane McMahon last wrestled in WWE at WrestleMania 37. After humiliating Braun Strowman for months, he took on ‘The Monster Among Men’ in a steel cage match at ‘The Grandest Stage Of Them All’. At the event, he received a brutal beat down and lost to the former WWE Universal champion.
