Shane McMahon and his entrepreneurial career following his resignation from WWE

Shane initially started by working in the company’s warehouse. He used to file orders over there. But slowly, as he got older, he became a referee, an announcer, and, of course, a wrestler. The WWE World Cup winner also worked as WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Media off-camera.

He even helped WWE bag several deals. But eventually, Shane shocked everyone by walking away from the company in 2009. In an interview in 2020, Shane revealed he resigned back in 2009 because his father, Vince McMahon, considered Stephanie McMahon and Triple H as the most worthy people to “inherit the throne.”

Shane returned to WWE in 2016 but has only been making occasional appearances since then.
