Fans recently found out that the Stamford-based company rejected an idea that could have brought a major change in the women’s division of the company.
This news has really upset the fans as they believe it is time to give women as much credit and opportunities as men.

Nikki Cross (fka Nikki ASH) was the last WWE 24/7 Champion. The title, which often switched many hands, was scrapped in November 2022 after Cross threw the title in a garbage can in a backstage segment.
While Sean Sapp from Fightful, the former 24/7 Champion revealed she wanted to do a lot of things with the WWE 24/7 title. She expressed her desire to change the 24/7 title into a “Women’s Intercontinental Championship.” She felt like doing so “would motivate women to keep going and have something else to fight for.”
However, the decision-makers of WWE didn’t give her idea a green light. She also stated that she was “heartbroken” when WWE scrapped the 24/7 title because she had put her “heart and soul into it.”
During the interview, Brooke also told the fans how she felt about the WWE 24/7 Championship. According to her, the title stood for everything she represents. “I represent a champion every single day, whether it be in the ring, outside of the ring, from the moment I wake up, or from the moment I go to bed, I try and be a champion,” she said.
Fans angry with WWE for rejecting Brook’s idea
It seems as if the WWE Universe liked Brook’s idea to give the women’s division an Intercontinental Championship. Also, the fans were furious and upset over the fact that WWE did not make it happen.

Why isn't there another belt in the @WWE woman's division? Like the Women's Intercontinental Title or something. There is so much great talent out there. @TripleH @WWEUniverse

There needs to be a mid card card title for the females.
— John™ (@Humble_demeanor) March 5, 2023

The WWE should create a serious mid-card title for the Women's Division. A title similar to the Intercontinental and United States title.
