While speaking with Daniel Cormier of ESPN’s DC&RC podcast, The Visionary shared his concerns with Punk returning to the company. He stated, “The Punk thing is interesting. It’s interesting. I never thought in a million years we’d be at this point.” Rollins further added that the moment of Punk’s return at Survivor Series was a surreal moment and he is happy for his fans. However, he stated, ” I just don’t want the problems that he brings. I don’t.”

Rollins stated that he believes that WWE is an incredible place and he has been an “anchor” for it at least in the past decade or so. He also talked about WWE’s latest deal with Netflix and how he believes that it is a big deal for WWE and the sports entertainment industry. However, he believes that WWE might lose it all due to Punk’s infamous antics.

He concluded by saying, ” I don’t want him coming in here…I’ve used the word cancer before, I don’t want to get too deep into it. I don’t want him to be the reason this thing takes a nosedive or even takes a dip.”
