In a surprising turn of events, Vince McMahon, the chairperson of WWE, made significant changes to the opening segment of RAW just moments before the show was supposed to air.

Although McMahon was not present in the show, he was coordinating remotely with the team. There was a completely different scenario scripted for Rollin’s opening segment with a match scheduled. However, McMahon wasn’t convinced by it and decided to change the segment.

According to McMahon, he wanted a headstrong start and a special element as Rollins and Balor are set to fight the Bank match. Finn Balor’s sudden appearance at the event was a complete shock for the audience. Just as McMahon planned it, the audience got extremely excited.

Triple H is the creative head of the WWE. However, McMahon, staying in incognito, keeps an eye on the proceedings of the company and has a say on a lot of things.

Finn Balor gets another opportunity to defeat Rollins and claim the title

Rollins and Balor faced each other during SummerSlam in 2016, Balor won the match but was legitimately injured by Rollins due to a botched buckle bomb on the barricade. Balor was forced to vacate the Universal title the next night on RAW.

If Balor wins the match against Rollins in London, that will mark the Irishman’s second-ever world championship to win in WWE, creating a historic moment. Fans await the match with great intrigue as Balor looks to avenge his ill-fated injury at the hands of Rollins seven years ago.
